Architectural Concrete Surface Retarder Versa Etch is a state-of-the-art, water-based concrete surface retarder designed to expose aggregate in freshly placed concrete without the need for plastic covering. It is available in seven standard depths of etch, suitable for a range of decorative applications from a very light acid wash to 5/8” deep.

Application
Preparation
Ensure surrounding surfaces are protected from overspray. Concrete should be floated, screeded, or troweled level, optionally with additional aggregate for texture.
Application
SprayVersa Etchevenly once surface water has disappeared. Typical coverage is 200300 square feet per gallon.
Setting and Removal
Allow to cure for 6 to 24 hours depending on conditions. Remove by flushing with a hose and stiff broom or a pressure washer.

Seal with SpecChem Crystal Shine,DecoShine, or Aqua Shine to enhance the exposed aggregate’s beauty.
Packaging
Versa Etch is packaged in 5-gallon pails.
