High-Solids Water-Based Acrylic Sealer (ASTM C1315 Class A)
Surface Shine WB is a high-solids, water-based, non-yellowing acrylic polymer engineered as a sealer for both exterior and interior concrete surfaces such as exposed aggregate, natural stone, brick, quarry tile, terrazzo, and others. This low-odor, durable sealer enhances the appearance with a high-gloss sheen and is water-based VOC compliant, offering protection against efflorescence, de-icing salts, acid rain, abrasion, chemicals, oils, and extreme UV exposure while minimizing aggregate pop-out.
Water-based
Beautifies and protects stamped concrete, acid stained concrete, integrally colored concrete, and exposed aggregate
VOC-compliant
Protects sealed surfaces from damaging effects of de-icing salts and acid rain
Minimizes efflorescence
Provides resistance to abrasion and a wide range of chemicals and oils
The concrete surface must be clean and free of standing water, sealer, or any material that may prevent adhesion.
For New Concrete or Exposed Aggregate
Apply with a sprayer or roller in uniform thin films at a rate of350400 sq ft per gallon.
For best results, spray apply.
Only one coat is required to cure, seal, beautify, and protect.
For increased gloss, a second coat may be applied after the first has thoroughly dried (typically 68 hours).
For Existing Concrete
Surfaces must be clean, dry, or slightly damp and free of stains, oil, grease, dirt, and incompatible coatings.
For smooth, dense surfaces, light buffing and the use of a microfiber applicator are recommended to achieve the best results.
Packaging
Available in 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon pails.
Shelf Life
One year from the date of manufacture when stored in the original tightly closed containers. Avoid freezing and contamination from water, dirt, or other materials
