SpecRez is a water-based, dissipating resin emulsion curing compound designed for newly finished horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. It forms an effective curing membrane that dissipates with exposure to sunlight, weathering, or traffic, potentially contributing to LEED credits.

Application

  • Mix thoroughly before use. Ensure application equipment is clean and free from foreign materials.
  • Spray application is preferred. Apply in temperatures above 40°F.
  • Mask areas that require caulking. Avoid ponding or puddling.
  • Coverage varies based on concrete texture and porosity.
  • Apply at a rate of 200-400 ft²/gal after final trowel or form removal.
  • Under normal conditions, chemical and physical breakdown will start in 4-6 weeks.

Packaging

Available in 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails.

Shelf Life

Shelf life is 1 year from manufacture in the original, sealed container. Avoid contamination.

Standards

Complies with ASTM C309, Types 1 and 1D, Class A & B, and AASHTO M148, Type 1, Class A & B.
