Why Contractors Choose It
Contractors choose SpecPoxy Grout HS when the job calls for dependable bearing support, positive placement, and a grout that can be matched to real equipment or base plate conditions.

Application
SpecPoxy Grout HSis suitable for demanding environments where dynamic and heavy loads are common. It is particularly effective for foundations of heavy equipment, precision grouting of base plates, and areas with substantial mechanical exposure or vibrations.
Mixing Instructions
- Ensure air, material, and surface temperatures are above 40°F before mixing.
- Precondition materials to 75°F for easier mixing and application.
- Mix three parts of Part A with one part of Part B by volume for three minutes using a low-speed drill and Jiffy mixer.
- For larger batches, transfer the mixed epoxy into a mortar mixer, slowly adding Part C (aggregate) and mix for an additional 23 minutes to achieve maximum yield.
Surface Preparation
- Surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound.
- Remove all contaminants such as oil, grease, and dirt.
- Mechanically abrade the surface and remove any residue with oil-free compressed air.
Placing
- Ensure continuous pouring to maintain full contact with the base plate and avoid air voids.
- Use strapping to move the grout into position.
- Maintain a minimum thickness of 1.0 inch and a maximum of 18 inches per lift.
- Use full aggregate extension for applications deeper than 6 inches.
High Flow Applications
For challenging placements requiring high flow, reduce Part C aggregate by up to 25% by weight.
Shelf Life
- Store in original sealed containers in a dry area.
- Shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture when stored properly.
Test Data
- Compressive Strength:Achieves up to 18,650 psi at 14 days depending on extension.
- Flexural and Tensile Strengths:Supports high-load transfers with substantial bond strengths.
- Cure Time:Exhibits a pot life of 2 hours at 75°F, with rapid curing to facilitate quick service return.
Standards
- USDA approvedfor use in food processing applications.
- Complies with ASTM standardsincluding C579, C580, C531, and C882.
Cleaning
Remove uncured material using SpecChem Solvent 100, Orange Peel, or other approved solvents. Comply with all local, state, and federal disposal regulations.
Cured material must be removed mechanically.
