Application

Surface Preparation

  • Clean Surfaces:Thoroughly clean surfaces to remove all contaminants. Use abrasive methods for best results.
  • Drilled Holes and Surface Preparation:Prepare drilled holes and surfaces according to detailed instructions, ensuring cleanliness and proper surface profile.

Mixing and Application

  • Mixing Instructions:Mix components A and B at a 1:1 ratio for three minutes until uniform. Apply using a brush, roller, or spray method at approximately 80 sq ft per gallon.
  • Bonding:Apply to substrates and place fresh concrete while SpecPoxy 2000 is tacky. If not tacky, clean the surface and reapply as needed.
  • Anchoring:Fill the hole from bottom-up, insert the bolt or dowel while turning to avoid air gaps.
  • Epoxy Mortar for Patching:Mix SpecPoxy 2000 with clean, dry silica sand in a 1:4 ratio, first applying a prime coat of neat epoxy.

Available in 1 gallon units, 2 gallon units, 10 gallon units, and 22 oz. dual cartridges.

Shelf Life

Store in original, tightly closed containers in a clean, dry area. Properly stored, the shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture.
