Material & Application Notes
Metal contact surfaces should be free of rust, oil, grease, and contaminants. Concrete must be sound and roughened; SSD preparation is recommended before placement.

Application
Preparation
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, oil-free, and roughened to enhance bonding.
- Metal in contact with the grout must be free of rust and contaminants.
- Substrate should be saturated surface dry (SSD) before grouting, with no excess water.
Mixing
- Mix in two phases to achieve desired consistency, starting with 2/3 of the water before adding the grout.
- Add the remaining water after partial mixing.
- Mix for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, ensuring no more than 30 minutes elapse before placement.
Placing
- Ensure continuous, quick placement from one side to avoid air entrapment.
- Maintain a minimum of 1-inch vertical clearance for base plate grouting.
Curing
- Cover immediately with clean, wet rags and keep moist until final set.
- Afterward, apply an ASTM-C-309 compliant curing compound like SpecChem Cure & Seal 25.

One year from the date of manufacture when stored properly in a cool, dry interior area away from moisture.
