Pro Plug 45 is a hydraulic cement that sets three times faster than standard quick-set plugs, achieving an instant set in just 45 seconds. This rapid set allows Pro Plug 45 to bond both mechanically and chemically to saturated surfaces, ideal for:
Stopping streaming leaks in concrete and masonry
Anchoring bolts and rods
Sealing cracks as well as floor and wall junctions
Non-metallic and non-rusting
Fast-setting and expands as it sets
Waterproof and resistant to hydrostatic pressure
Easy to mix and use
Chloride and metal-free mortar that can be shaped to the desired contour
Undercut or widen holes and cracks to at least 0.75 inches to allow for material embedment. Remove all loose dirt and aggregate. Ensure surfaces are saturated surface dry (SSD) before application.
Mixing
Combine Pro Plug 45 with clean, potable water to achieve a putty-like consistency. The recommended mixing ratio is 3 parts powder to 1 part water. Mix only small quantities due to the rapid setting time.
Application Method
Stopping Water:Start at the top of the crack, applying Pro Plug 45 firmly with a trowel or by hand, maintaining pressure for about 3 minutes to prevent the material from washing out under water pressure.
Sealing Cracks and Floor/Wall Junctions:Push Pro Plug 45 into the crack or hole to form a cove at the junction.
Anchoring Bolts or Rods:Drill or chisel a hole with at least ½ inch of space around the bolt or rod. Place the bolt, fill around it with Pro Plug 45 using a pointed trowel, and support the bolt until the material sets and is stable.
