Precast 80 is a chemically reactive, mineral oil-based release agent designed for precast and shop use applications. It effectively prevents concrete from bonding to formwork, does not contain diesel, waxes, or silicones, and is specifically engineered for fast drying.

Application

  • Ensure form surfaces are clean of dirt, rust, scale, and concrete buildup before application.
  • ApplyPrecast 80using a spray with an atomizing or misting tip to ensure a thin, uniform film, enhancing product performance and efficiency.
  • Recommended coverage ranges from1000 to 2000 sq ft/galfor steel, fiberglass, and HDO plywood. Actual rates may vary.
  • Remove any excess material or puddles with a squeegee and absorbent rags.
  • When applied correctly, Precast 80 will not leave any residues that might prevent adhesion of coatings or stain the concrete.

Packaging

Available in 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails.

Shelf Life

Two years from the date of manufacture when stored in properly closed containers.
