Material & Application Notes
Modified Emulsion Coating Max-A-Seal WP® is a latex-modified anionic emulsion designed as a waterproofing coating for various applications. This product offers excellent waterproofing capabilities on asphalt, metal, wood, masonry, and foam surfaces. It is especially suitable for exterior below grade or between slab applications.
Why Contractors Choose It
Contractors choose Max-A-Seal WP when the slab or surface needs protection, appearance control, and a sealer matched to exposure conditions.
Max-A-Seal WP® can be applied using a brush, squeegee, or spray equipment. For effective coverage, apply 60 mils wet to achieve a 40 mils dry coating. The material should be applied uniformly, ensuring no translucence on the surface. It is easily sprayed with equipment such as a Graco GH833 Siphon Pump, using a 1/2” hose and a GHD 661 Spray Tip. In-line filters should be removed when spraying.
