2X4 RED SURFACE MOUNT ADA TILE

The 2448SM-RED is the 2' x 4' Surface Mount Red ADA Tile provided by ADA Solutions. ADA Solutions is the preferred manufacture of all tactile warning surfaces and dectable truncated domes for any State and Federal DOT jobs. The surface applied tiles, like the 2448SM-RED, are used to retrofit over an exisiting concrete substrate and takes as little as 10 minutes to install. They are secured with adhesives to stick to the concrete and set with drill bits to ensure a solid placement of the tile. 

To install:

Make sure the surface (for 2448SM-RED, 24" x 48") is clear of debris, grease, and free of all moisture. 

Apply adhesive to the bottom of the frame. Adhesive applies roughly 10 Square Feet per 10 Ounces of Adhesive. 

Fasten the tile using a hammer drill and a minimum of 1/4" x 2" SDS Bit. Must be a miniumum of 2" deep. 

Caulk around the edges - make sure location is clear of deris.
